Make Up Ideas

We thought about what we wanted to achieve in terms of the look of our character and found some films and photographs that we could draw inspiration from and that could possibly influence our ideas (see below)
As psychological horrors are not focussed on gore or physical violence we knew that blood and wounds were not necessary. We therefore decided on the tired/ more run down look for our central character, i.e dark heavy eyes and pale complexion, as this would subtly show her perhaps slight mental instability which is a key point in our sub-genre
We also considered a change in the characters appearance. We decided that to establish a sense of normality; the character would start looking very much normal and standard, and by the end would appear quite disturbed and stressed
